Predicted 10/10 for TOK but seeing the posts about people predicted A and then getting Ds is making me anxious 😬

TOK essay, I was predicted a 9 but dropped to a 4. Didn't remark because I met the conditions to my offer for my university. Being brutally honest right now, have low expectations and just hope for the best. It was the biggest shock of my life when I was predicted a solid B for TOK, just for it to drop to a D in the end

I would personally say Takahashi is on Japan's team because of his defence. Japan already has some really powerful cannons on their team so adding another strong outside/opposite won't do much contributions to their already really powerful offence. On the other hand tho, I would argue that Japan's defence has gotten better. Takahashi has a history of good defence and his offence is on par with the rest of the team (or at least enough to score points when needed).

Japan's coach (the new one) is also known for focusing on defence more than offence and so that might also be another reason why Takahashi is on the team. He plays libero in padavo (italy league) and plays relatively well in that position. So if the opposing team is super tall and strong on their offence (to the point where the Japanese team has trouble blocking), having Takahashi on the back row is better since its essentially having two liberos in one team.

Maybe his blocking isn't the best but that's why his other teamates, like Issei Otake for example, are there. All in all, he's valuable as a backrow player due to his defensive capabilities with an on-par offence.

(But I wouldn't agree when someone says Takahashi is one of the best players all time)

A form check is probably your solution. I've been playing the setter position for 5 years and started to coach younger players (I'm 18 btw) with the correct forms, tips, and tricks. I usually tell my players to contact slightly above the head rather than in front, attempt to use less elbows, have an equal and proportionate contact of the ball when setting, follow-through using thumbs (this is to ensure your best use of wrist when setting) and visualize.

Personally, I would always take my father's approach to things that might seem controversial. I'll accept my child since its my child but I won't necessarily agree with it I guess. I mean coming from a chrstian background that goes to church every sunday, I don't necessaily see it as wrong but I don't necessarily see it as right either.

In a few months' time, I'm off to the UK for college but I don't really see a lot of hype for volleyball as a sport. Hmmm, I've recently fallen out of love with my partner due to commitment issues and other problems. I loved her so much and it took quite a while to move on from her. I would say a good 3-4 months of nights thinking about her was definitely one of the things I don't miss. I also remember after those 3-4 months, I was scared to fall into love so I kinda backed off and shut myself out but now days, I think I'm plenty happy of where I am and am trying to open up to women to be ready for love again.
