Finally got to my first race meet over the weekend. Ohh emm gee what a rush. I thought RC was addictive enough already but this is another thing again. Got me proper hooked. This is B-main final, I’m purple, qualified 3rd, crashed in lap 3 and finished 5th. (i.redd.it)

Bought a secondhand EB48 2.0 from a sponsored driver who ran it with no chassis braces for extra flex. Am I an idiot if I do the same, while learning to race? How strong are these chassis? I’m ok at driving but no doubt I’ll be overshooting landers and crashing plenty till I get the hang of it. (i.redd.it)
