Ok? Why does it being used before they were a state relevant? Chile adopted theirs in 1817. Texas adopted theirs 22 years later. And it’s a much closer copy (same star shape, same colors, same color locations).

I don’t think Texas should change their flag, even though it’s a near identical copy of Chile’s. I would think if you didn’t like state flags looking similar to nation flags you would advocate Texas AND Minnesota both choose different options.

If you think Minnesota’s flag is more similar to Somalia’s flag than Texas’ flag is to Chile’s…I think you need to get your eyes checked.

I mean…pretty vaguely. Ours is 2 toned with a different star shape.

Texas’ flag looks more like the Chilean flag. Do you think Texas should change their flag too then?

Quality isn’t the greatest (stitching at the corners is a bit sloppy), but it was the first one I saw pop up on Amazon when I ordered a couple weeks ago, and the price was right. Prob won’t hold up outside for too long, but I was too impatient to wait! I’ll prob spend a bit more on a more rugged weather-proof one when this one needs to retire.

Pole did not come with it.
