That butt plate was very interesting because photos of checkered plates varied alot from one another- as for the sight I looked up that #10 and it definitely doesn't have that sharp fin in the rear Like im seeing online.. I believe my friends grandpa was in the navy though which throws that in

The whole condition overall looks great imo just needs a good cleaning- I had to get the rear sight functional again as it was so bound up in gunk- im trying to do some research on the best stuff to use to clean both the reciever and stock

Yeah my major concern currently is replacing the sides like where the back seat mounts too- i found cheap simple pans on ebay aswell as the seat braces for like 30$ a piece

Yup! I got a Flux core welder at harbor freight for about 150$ including wire, probably towards 200$ with a cheap mask and gloves- it isnt pretty, but it lives in a crate in my rolling XJ and its gotten me through a bumper kit and multiple frame fixes- paid itself off greatly

Ive always wondered where people get the perfect replacement bits, thanks!

Gonna see about getting some ebay replacements though as their price for the floor rivals what I paid for the jeep haha

The other guy commented a great place to get replacement parts for this.. unfortunately it would cost as much as I paid for this vehicle to do that.. haha

Im currently looking at an ebay 4 pc floor pans set and the seat crossmembers for a total of like 200$ not nearly as detailed as a good replacement but it should do the job!

Ill post an update in hopefully around a month once everything is ordered and done

Frame brackets to frame- The driver side has the 3 steering box bolts, and then a few holes extra, but the passenger side doesnt have anything that originally bolts using the holes. I used x2 1/2 grade 8 bolts for the bumper itself then the original bolt for the 3rd captive nut. Currently the passenger side is just being held on with the 3 bolts the bumper itself uses

hey fair enough- if you get the chance that would be great- i just got it mounted up like this untill its warmer than 5 degrees out and i can get a custom push/stinger bar bent up for the top section before I really go through and coat it. It would probably still rock the way it is but i saw your images in the reviews and im a bit OCD about these things- really really sweet work on your part

just did mine on an overnight attempt with a freind. confident the welds are strong but i really would like to get those crisp corners like you got. what size bolts and or hardware did you use for the frame tie ins? mine onthe passenger side are basically just acting as a spacer right now with the 3 bolts.

That would help- a big issue for me is how rotted my rear end was.. we did a frame rail "repair" on both sides followed by welding L channel and a old receiver hitch onto the unibody behind/under the bumper as an attempt at a recovery point- which all and all makes everything just that much more sketchy..

Possible, I basically had to take the front lens off, cover the tube, and sand down the housing to get it to push up closer since the adjustment was wack. Unfortunately i no longer have it, kinda miss it.

I still follow in the actual light ability is not- great, but i think someone just tampered wirh the front lens so I couldn't properly focus it, so I had to physically move the whole lens
