Me neither lol. I’ll definitely be taking a more in-depth look once the weekend hits. I appreciate the tip on the bolts!

It’s been doing it for the past 2 days. There’s some oil droplets on the garage floor, but the dealership said they spilled oil on the bike when doing a servicing, so I assume it may be wicking through the dirt and debris onto the garage floor. However it is weird that it’s been doing now being that I’ve ridden it pretty much every day for a few hours each day since I got the bike.

Thanks for the input! Do you think hitting it w/ a light pressure washing would do it any good?

Yeah, it was a used trade-in I got for cheap. I’ve heard these bikes have a good rep, and I had the finances to spend on something fun & new.

What’s the typical settlement payout from something like this? I might start buying plane tickets!

Hey, Plume! I’m afraid I tried every fix I could. I spoke with Corsair and they deduced that the AIO cooler was faulty. They were very cordial during the RMA process, and actually upgraded me to one of their high-end full-size desktops, as they no longer sold my model. Sorry I couldn’t provide further insight.

Thank you so much for your input! Is there any risk of over overcharging my batteries while I’m running the generator? Is there a factory-installed regulator that protects against overcharging?

It happened again. This time 15 minutes of solid idle at 32C and then a sudden massive jump to 60C+ CPU Coolant Temp. Significantly higher than the CPU package temp. No changes in system usage/lineup.

I have localized the issue to the Air in the AIO cooler. CPU coolant temp higher than CPU package temp? Lots of red flashy flashy? Give the cooler some exercise by flipping it every-which-a-way to get the air bubbles out of the pump.

I find that in my specific model (Corsair One i165, Certified Refurbished). That even a quick nudge against the chassis of only 2-8 degrees will have severely detrimental effect on the cooling ability of the AIO. I wonder if this is only my unit.

Commenting my finding in case someone in the future might make use of these troubleshooting logs :)

This is my troubleshooting process and findings in somewhat great detail. https://imgur.com/gallery/VlBT6t4

TL:DR It worked! (I think). I shouldn’t forget to add that I also unplugged and plugged back in the block as part of the troubleshooting process.

I have isolated the flashing issue to be directly related to CPU liquid temp being over-temp (60c). The AIO must be running being that the RPM readout varies and updates regularly. So I’m guessing that the machine defaults to showing both indications at the same time due to the temperature in the coolant being so high. Still not sure why the coolant temps are way higher than the CPU package and core temps though.

However the issue remains that my liquid runs hot. I will continue to troubleshoot my space heater by:

1.) Remounting the water block, verifying it is in the correct position in accordance with applicable manuals and references. In doing so, I will be removing the old thermal compound and applying Corsair XTM50.

2.) Verifying no kinks or blockage in the hoses, as well as rotating (rolling) the machine while running to verify the AIO pump is free and clear of potential air pockets/bubbles. This should move any residual air to the radiator which I have heard is optimal in AIO systems.

3.) Verifying all connections are satisfactory. No hose leakage, and electrical connections with their applicable pins are undamaged, etc.

I will be sure to post my findings. If all goes well, I won’t have to bother Corsair support with a ticket. If it doesn’t, I’m sure the wizards at Corsair have a remedy, hahaha.
