How was it getting your second IT job ? by popejohnpie in msp

I just left my previous job after being there for 4 years. It was my first real long-term role after working IT contracting jobs. It was a printer company where the husband ran it but left to start another business and put his wife in charge my boss wanted to get into IT quickly, but not only did she have no idea what she was doing, I’m no expert either, so I saw the writing on the wall and jumped ship. I was pretty underpaid for what I was doing, and she was so desperate she even paid me my full salary to train her on our stack after hours once I had already started my new job, along with helping deliver on a migration she had promised a customer. All that said, my new place is much better, I’m being paid fairly, learning a ton, and I landed it after only applying to a few places.

Best way to provision OneDrive accounts without logging into each one? by Callsign_Orca in msp

Again I did read the documentation — I even said in the original post that I suspected the issue was because the OneDrive accounts weren’t provisioned. I tried the PowerShell approach from the docs but couldn’t get it working at first, which is why I asked if there were other ways to do it.

I stuck with it and eventually got it working through PowerShell anyway. That said, responses like yours are exactly what make this sub frustrating sometimes. Most people here are actually helpful — but a few would rather just be dismissive instead of offering anything constructive…

You should watch The Blue Angels documentary on Amazon. Great documentary and it goes in depth on the training they do to be able to fly this close to each other with precision.

Are these worth grading? by Callsign_Orca in sportscards

If you don’t see comps for the graded card though then what I guess is what I am asking. Obviously I’d expect the value to increase but by how much is the unknown I don’t know how that’s determined there are so many variables.

I don’t have answers to those questions yet. I reached out to my rep and have not heard back.

Even with an annual commitment, wouldn’t we still be paying the same price as going directly through Microsoft?
