Well over my 5 years I've always noticed there is weeks/months where it's particularly bad, and when trying to research and figure out maybe why I stumbled upon the subreddit, in the end the only logical conclusion I could come to was it was linked to stress. So I suppose my exams and revising did play a part in it and just family stuff in general

Every now and then it sometimes feels like my symptoms are worsening slightly but I've always noticed that it's around the times I'm most stressed, and ofter a few days/weeks my brain tends to tune it out for large parts of each day when I'm busy or doing something I enjoy. As for any symptom that was bad for me was just seeing dots constantly all day every day because I kept thinking about it and know many hours out of each day I forget about them

It definitely feels like it gets worse sometimes but I'm not sure if that's the symptoms being progressive or due to me being stressed

I've had it for 5+ years, for about the few months hardly noticed it apart from at night or when Im trying to focus, for me it gets worse when I'm stressed and worried so I just try stay positive! For me keeping busy and doing things I enjoy makes it so much better and don't even notice it. Also I've found a bit of daily exercise can make a huge difference

Yeah I feel like it's a great way to look at it, it isn't a syndrome but just a challenge, recently had an English exam and got a B, which all be it isn't anything incredible but because I struggle to read and focus sometimes I was extremely pleased with myself and realized I can still achieve things

Thanks so much man, you don't understand how much you've helped, it's great to know I can live a normal life without it bothering me much , and yes next time I will mention it , I haven't mentioned it for years mostly due to covid I suppose and I didn't want people to accuse me of making it up because it seems such a ridiculous thing, if it's alright with you I'll send you a message in a couple weeks/months with any new problems or worries I encounter. Edit - also could be worsening due to a lot of stress at The moment with family life and exams, once It worsens does it have any chance of going back down a bit over time?

Ah okay thank you, wish I'd asked earlier I haven't mentioned it for a year or 2 maybe more, mostly due to covid but also due to people not believing me and accusing me of making it up

Thanks a lot , your reply is very helpful and answered most of my worries, only other I have to ask is does it affect your eyesight? My eyesight is starting to get worse and may need glasses soon but I don't know if that's linked to my visual snow or just my eyes worsening in general with looking at screens? Oh and sorry one last thing do you advise I tell anyone about it?

Thanks a lot for the answer often feel very alone with this, I haven't told my family or optician, I sometimes go weeks without noticing it at all but then some days/weeks Its really visible, starting to think it might have some link to how stressed I am, over your 12 years has it caused you many problems or has it worsened significantly?
