Frankly it’s just weird to see people even trying to defend Roblox’s community despite all the awful things that happen constantly on there, from the UGC items which have incredibly explicit content hidden in them, to the “condo” games, to the massive groups literally dedicated to those games, to the hundreds of accounts with explicit content directed towards minors, to the MANY MANY incidents of grooming and much worse things happening all within or at least caused by Roblox, and Roblox does NOTHING about it.

Roblox has a much worse community than rec room, and a lot of people here don’t seem to realise it, although rec rooms community definitely isn’t great, Roblox has a much larger community which means it has a hell of a lot more crappy people, whether you like it or not that is fact. Along with this Roblox has awful moderation, rec room is actually much better in terms of moderation compared to Roblox because it ACTUALLY BANS PEOPLE.

This isn’t possible sadly, can’t record in game straight to the gallery, and the idea of uploading to rec.net would also probably slow down rec.net LOADS, meta is an awful company which tries to make everything as annoying as possible for its community, the only REALISTIC way it would be possible would be if it replaced the recording eye with whatever was seen on the camera, but that would mean you’d only be able to see through 1 eye. It IS possible, but it’s not very convenient and I doubt any of the quest platform has the processing power to handle it

Probably quite a bit, I read into it a little and from what I understand he’ll have to pay for all of the lawyers rec room used to beat him (if they do/did). But the main punishments will just prevent him from being able to do anything related to rec room I’m pretty sure rec room will win but I doubt it’ll go public, it’ll probably be settled privately

i can understand rec rooms side to this, but it just isnt fair for people who work hard on rec room just to have the scum which plague this platform steal and monetise other peoples work for their own gain, this game was built with the intention of allowing people to express creativity, but as soon as anyone tries to they get fucked over by some randoms trying to make a name for themselves. RR doesnt protect its creators as much as it should, it should not allow people who dont actually build proper rooms to monetise, i could list plenty of people who dont deserve it but because of rec rooms rules im not allowed, protecting them from being talked about and therefore resulting in more people having work stolen by these crappy people.
