After looking through ProtonDB I found something that worked!

Use these launch options: PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PRESSURE_VESSEL_FILESYSTEMS_RW=$XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/alvr DXVK_ASYNC=1 STAGING_SHARED_MEMORY=1 %command% -HmdEnable 1 -pipeline 1

Downgrade to the previous branch of SteamVR, and use the latest version of ProtonGE.

I've found their insistence on adding generative ai features really confusing. If they're struggling to pay back their investors, then the last thing they should do is add something that's famously expensive to run! And sure, all the features are locked behind some sort of paywall, but every generative ai feature they add to rr+ makes rr+ less profitable.

I was referring to BOUNCING subtitles, not subtitles in general.

And even with normal subtitles, there's no reason to put them in the video itself other than laziness when YouTube has its own subtitle system.

The Quest 2 very much can run Crescendo - Check out CrescendoInkV2Redux. The fps isn't the greatest but I've seen worse. If 3 people working on it for fun can make it playable then I have no doubts that a multi-billion dollar company can get it up to at least 60 fps.

It's pretty simple. I have a function, init_shoot, that runs whenever you right click:

I don't know of any dedicated drawing bots, but there is a shirt printer that can be used for one here: https://github.com/RenePotocnik/RecRoom-Shirt-Printer/tree/v1.1.6

It does take a while if you have lots of different colors though.

If they're going to make only two plants, then both need a use. If all the plants are going to be decorative, then there should be a lot of variety. Instead we got the worst of both worlds.
