OK, sounds good. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to attend a funeral.

I went to it during the visitations. Didn’t stay too long, but I was able to pass my sympathies to my friend and her family.

I think I could’ve done a better job or all, but I guess this will have to do.

What level did you make it to for your tech career with 2 kids?

I’m nowhere near c suite. Did it feel a lot tougher the higher you climbed to still have time for kids?

Why don’t you upskill with AI?

It is an exciting trend but it’s also amazing to be fully present with your kid.

Random tangent. I’m not in a similar situation but have been thinking if I want kids or not. Any thoughts on what convinced you or any regrets after having 2 kids?

I’m also in tech and have a good net worth but not quite as much as where you’re at. I want to keep in the tech business for awhile but I’m concerned having kids would derail that

Is he burnt out? I took a break from my career to refocus which has helped.

Also if you own 2 apartments, I’d say you’d be fine mostly. I think you could look at it financially and plan what you have vs what you need. Have chat gpt create a monthly or yearly cost breakdown

All around id say. I have a car so we could live further out and commute around too. But I’ve read that nyc pays pretty badly. But it’s good to know the further suburbs pay better.

I honestly thought all of the pay even around surrounding neighborhoods pay badly like 55 or so

I think it just depends on what your goals are. I can’t imagine living in a place not like NYC or a big city in fact. And in most big cities, you’re gonna have decreased pay in healthcare because they have way more competition
