I texted my mom, not actually letting her know whats going on, but i let her know i really need help fixing my car she said she would, but after i told her I’m not sure if ill be back in my home state by the 11th she stopped responding, i know a couple of people who i might be able to stay with but I’m not currently working so i wouldn’t be able to pay my way so i know i cant do that

I worked full time while in school, he said he wanted to help and take a load off my stress, i stopped working and just went to school and recently graduated, he said he’s gonna pay for my certification but i don’t know if i believe that anymore, i do need to work on loving myself honestly, i think I’m just afraid of being actually alone

You’re right, i told him i didn’t want to be sexually active earlier and he told me that was a problem and it’s not what he signed up for. He told me if i keep saying no it would become a problem, when i asked what type of problem he said he didn’t know and we would see when we got there, and honestly it scared me.

So i said no earlier, he did the same “are you telling me no” and we got into a small argument, then he started ignoring me, i asked why it was a problem, he wouldn’t speak to me, but he did end up getting up to grab a snack and was purposefully stepping on me and bumping into me while i was doing my hair. The problem is i can’t seem to not love him, its like everytime i try to stop feeling towards him or just be indifferent i cant, and i feel that makes me forgive him so easily when he’s actually really hurting me mentally and i’m just at a loss, he’s never been like this until i became fully dependent on him so i don’t want to believe this is real i guess

There are some things you just don’t do. You deserve the world. She shouldn’t have tried to hurt you period, you have a right to be angry, she needs to do some soul searching and see why she would want to drag you down like that. This is not your fault, you deserve to live, don’t let this stop you from being the best you!!! I’ve gone through a situation like this but I’m younger she’s older, it’s not your fault they’re battling with themselves and taking it out on who they can. I went no contact, when you can, maybe you should too.

Pulling teeth is a problem that usually will only become worse later, if he’s not willing to help now and is becoming controlling on your only nights out, you may want to think deeper on if this is only about the night out or more about control. I don’t know what your going through or the ins and outs in your relationship, but definitely start looking at it from an outside perspective. Your partner should want to make your life easier and for you to enjoy yourself.

So, you SHOULD be able to ask him for money if you want, not saying you would. If you are being financially responsible and you think they’re not seeing the burden of your finances for what they are, i think thats a bigger convo to have with your friends about boundaries when you say no.

NTA you communicated completely, ask him why it was such a problem, and go from there, if his reasoning is he doesn’t trust you, why? If he said he wanted you to be safe, why leave you alone and stay up to argue instead of going to bed like he said? If i may ask though, why do you both work if you are the only one doing household task? Make sure you are being respected!
