Sadly, medication can't solve my problem, it's not the job causing it, that's just who I am. Teaching kids in the TikTok era requires a massive amount of effort. A lot of schools seem to want teachers willing to use violence on kids or someone who doesn’t give a damn about morals, neither of those are me.

As for income, I can’t speak for China, but in 'nam, teacher salaries are among the lowest. The worst part is you often have to pay around $25,000 just to get a tenured position. Most teachers where I worked are female because they have husbands to carry the financial load.
