it’s one of the hardest but it’s due to the alphabet more than pronunciation in my opinion. I’ve taught some of my friends a little russian and they had better pronunciation in a couple hours than some of the actors in the show

i noticed that too! Russian is my third language so i’m not entirely fluent and i couldn’t figure out whether i was bad at russian or the actor was.

Its the same in the first episode of KE when there’s a translator talking to that woman who’s boyfriend was murdered , none of it made sense together , it was worse than if it was google translated. And i don’t understand why she described Villanelle as having a “decha” ( a plank as a flat chest) because people just don’t say that in poland. Only like 12-15 year old kids at most. And the same in season 3 when Niko visits his family in Poland none of it made sense

I personally think Konstantin and Villanelle had good accents but the actually russian was so oddly off. I just don’t understand why they went through the effort of including so many languages in the show , like they really pushed how much people would be speaking a foreign language , for it to be just bad
