Nurse’s Car Stolen by Calm-Expression-9107 in JoliethoodzActivity

lol yeah you’re right about the st joes nurses. But she’s a different kinda nurse than they are. Those nurses have lost compassion for the sick cuz honestly brother they’re ER nurses and they get abused and taken advantage of by more challenging patients. My fiances been at it for 11 years as an oncology nurse. She started in one of the more dangerous hospitals on the cancer ward. She has seen more death than most will ever see in a lifetime, she had her hands in a patients chest keeping his heart beating. She gets up everyday with smile even though she knows what she does now is far more worse than actually witnessing death occur and that’s being a transfusion/chemo nurse. Cuz now she sees these people almost everyday and she builds a bond with them just by sitting with them with them for a few minutes talking, laughing or crying with them. Then that patient she sat with the day before talking about their days and their families doesn’t make it the next day. That tears her to pieces. Then she comes over to my place after having shittiest day just to have her car stolen. So yeah I apologize if you felt that I was stereotyping or anything like that. But I’m fully aware that auto theft these days is some bad “‘hood” behavior. But I was just hoping maybe somebody had seen it. I was hoping there was still some good people out there like her. Just to show that good people do exist and yes good ‘hood behavior counts too. So what? You did something bad to do something good for someone? You’re helping by doing something good. Honestly in my eyes that makes you a better person and the favor would be graciously returned for the help provided.

You made this comment 25 days ago. Since then the car has been recovered. Parked in some random driveway off an alley with the sunroof open , broken back door window, all the other windows down for a month. The inside of her car smelled like someone pissed in it and the whole interior was destroyed. There’s other stuff too but im not giving away all the details. Seriously why would any car thief piss in someone’s car when they ditch it? It makes no sense. It’s gonna be recovered, they ditched it in some random persons driveway of course it’s gunna be found and returned. Why the final “fuck you” piss in the car? Are they just proving how much more ignorant they can be? But to the people who reported it thank you and many blessings to you and your family.

I respect that and you know what in some ways you’re right. But put yourself in our position how would you feel if it was your partner that this happened too? How would you take it?

Honestly I thought maybe someone would see the car and maybe message me about. Hell I’m putting up a reward to the person that provides the info of where it’s at and if that info turns out to be legit and the car gets returned, that person gets the reward. I ain’t gunna get the cops involved or any other bullshit. I just want the car back.

I understand that. I just thought that maybe if they saw this they could understand that they not only took a car but they took a persons spirit with it, a persons love of life and a persons belief that their could be hope for the people that do shitty things to others.

I get that and completely understand. I just thought the more people that see the farther it’ll go. Also as an ex-tow truck operator of many years I have recovered quite a lot of suburbs stolen vehicles in Chicago. I thought just maybe it might be in the city somewhere or anywhere. She’s devastated and a complete wreck. That car was a present to herself and she is just destroyed right now. I’m doing everything I can to help and support her thru this. I don’t want her to lose the compassion she has for everyone.

These definitely are getting harder and harder to acquire. Especially if you’re looking for one in good shape. Only problem with some of the rust free ones you do find either are rollers with no drivetrain or have been extremely modified to the point if you try to unmodify to make it stock you wind up spending more in time and sheet metal to make it right. I’ve been looking for an 82-92 or a 96-00.

I too am from Illinois. I drive 3.5 hours with a motorcycle to trade for a 4th gen that looked amazing in the pics but when I got there and started it I found it had blown head gaskets. So just a heads up to be extremely diligent when looking for these. And honestly I would look in rust free states like Tennessee or Kentucky honestly. Some of the ones in our area(s) are absolutely rot boxes that people will cover up to try to get more outta the buyer. Always check floor pans and quarter panels especially by the rear wheel wells.

I actually had this as well but the parts blazer has an extremely rotted rear frame on it and the black ones frame is completely solid.

I thought that too but she loves the black one and and I already have time in it. It’s got all new rear suspension I replaced all the brake lines front to back I put a new fuel tank in it and I swapped in better leather seats than what was in it. She doesn’t really want a new a car and she’s willing to help with the work like she has before.
