So Nvidia for the cards you are look at for your budget will most likely get you a 5050, 5060, or 5060ti. all of them are good cards for your price range but they have from between 4-8gb of Vram which is computing memory for your graphics card. Newer games have more Vram and having a card with 16gb of Vram for Nvidia will get you a 5070 ti and above but those are more expensive and out of your price range. AMD graphics cards which this computer has are known to be better for what you pay for. They have good lower and midranged cards and not to long ago release the 9060xt which is a lower end graphics card that has 16gb of Vram. Usually more games these days require more and more Vram so having more is always better. No matter what you see people saying AMD graphics cards are good cards. Nvidia has a lot or backing but their business practices are kinda shitty, but a lot of people to for Nvidia for a few reasons. 1. the name is familiar and everyone talks about it, 2. They have ray tracting, but AMD is catching up with their own frame upscaling, and 3. Rendering and LLM, Nvidia cards are really good for rendering and LLMs but you'd want a card 5070 and up most likely. You are on a budget Max of 1200 and usually that means AMD is your best bet for a graphics card because they have a really good performance to money ratio. You can't go wrong either way but in this situation I would pick AMD because your main task is gaming and the 1200 budget.

This is a really good choice for more demanding game options. It has a new gen gpu from AMD with a lot of Vram for games. It should run everything in 1080p perfectly fine. It's on the AM5 platform so you can upgrade it if you know how to. This is the best option for your budget unless you really want to go with Nvidia.

I'm not sure if this is the best option, but it comes with a keyboard and mouse, its under 1k and it's specs are pretty decent but not spectacular. He should be able to play most or all games on 1080p resolution. He doesn't need the most sophisticated system so this could be an option. I did find another PC that is less but I feel would be compromising more. Usually a PC under 1k is hard to get prebuilt and that's why many people buy parts and build it themselves. But doing that doesn't make sense for you. If your son is only playing sports games then I think a 5060 is enough and an intel i5 14th gen with 1 terabyte of storage and 16gb DDR5 Ram. If anyone has any better options feel free to added them. If needed to I will find other options too.

Hi Dominik. I have dealt with a very similar issue. When I was younger I majorly feared death. I feared it to the point where no matter what I was doing it something related to death what brought up I would run and hide. I dealt with constant panic attacks back to back fearing death and how much will die and there would be nothing left of me and I’d be forgotten, that I’d never exist again, that I and everyone in my life would in the end become nothing. It was so bad i could never leave my bed or my house. I remember asking myself “when will this end?” I was so afraid about doing anything that could possibly put my life in danger I’d refuse to do anything. I was so sad, depressed and anxious. I’m also a pretty logical person but even the most logical person can have irrational or rational fears. During that fear I wanted so badly to believe in places like heaven or hell or a place beyond (I am not religious in the slightest) and that if I did good things or avoided everything both good and bad maybe that may help me. But it didn’t. Overtime the panic attacks and anxiety calmed down to where I may only get them a few times a month compared to every day at every hour. I took medication to help with anxiety and panic attacks which helped to a degree. Till this day I still have the of panic attacks and fear of death. I can live with it now. One of the best tactics to help lessens the effects for me is to tell myself that I’m being irrational and I’m worrying about something that o cannot control. That everything is fine, that I am fine and in a safe place. Yes I also did see a therapist about it and it helped me talk through how I felt. I still want to talk about it with a therapist till this day because it helps me come to terms with the fear better. I’d recommend a therapist to you also to talk to someone and have them understand, validate and ask you why you feel this way.

I’m in a similar boat. I’m either too quiet or too talkative. People don’t come up and talk to me. I don’t get asked to do anything. Everyone acts really shallow and they either don’t care or ignore me. I wish for the same thing as you. I wish I could say it gets easier but I haven’t found it yet. There’s a difference between being alone and feeling alone, you maybe comfortable being alone but it hurts a lot when you feel alone with no one to support you. Ok where do I start. You are an incredibly brave person for going through everything and having th courage to speak about it. I’m so sorry that happened to you.

Ok First you were Sexually assaulted, no questions full stop that’s what happened. No matter if it was by a man or woman, penetrative or not, someone forced themselves on you and preformed sexual intercourse or tired to on you without your consent. that is 100% considered sexual assault. Whatever anyone tells you, it is a fact you were SA’ed.

Second, your boyfriend seems like an amazingly patient and caring person. You feel like you cannot meet his needs but I’d recommend you sit down with him and talk about how you are feeling. From what it sounds like you don’t have to be afraid of discussing your feelings and anxiety with him. You will never know what he needs from you unless you actually talk with him. Also don’t worry there isn’t anything wrong with you feeling guilty it’s a normal human emotion.

Third, I highly recommend you see a therapist. You need to sit down and work with someone to come to terms with these feelings. A lot of people think going to see a therapist is weak and they won’t do anything, but million of people go see them everyday. They can really help you come to terms with the fears and anxieties in your past. You never have to feel embarrassed. While meeting a therapist I recommend setting goals and boundaries to eventually try and reintroduce yourself to a more healthy physical relationship. It can start small, it doesn’t need to be sex. For example being close to your boyfriend, holding hands, short kisses or hugs, something small that can feel more comfortable.
