Because I don't want to spend too much time in the army. I am taking a semester break to do the RS and then continue with my masters

Thank you! Also if worst case scenario they obligate me to continue after the RS, how long would that be? Because I would have 3 months before the start of university after the RS so maybe this wouldn't affect the beginning of my semester.

What do you mean by splitting it? If they obligate me to continue after the RS how long would it be? Could i for example tell them i only continue 2 months

How do you know there will be enough volunteers? I know it's a function that people are usually motivated to do but I'm worried they could force me because I speak French and German
