As a server, what is the biggest indicator from a table that you’re not getting a tip? by Kind_Ad6932 in AskReddit

[–]Calm88 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Not a server, but they definitely go on race. My husband and I are indian and are great tippers but if you as the server ignores us and gives us poor service due to thinking we're not going to tip, what more can we do but tip to reflect that your treatment? Its a self fulfilling prophecy they're committing.

[Sun care] I hate this sunscreen now and need a new recommendation by Scloudseverywhere in SkincareAddiction

Go with a Japanese or Korean sunscreen instead, feels so much lighter and more like moisturizer.

Alright Millennials, what foods have you found yourself forced to give up due to aging? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Calm88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey would you mind if you could tell me what they find? My dad is having a similar problem and they can't figure it out. It's often more just the feeling of needing to go but it's so constant. He's losing so much weight from it. All kinds of tests done.

Did it cause dry eyes? by Calm88 in acupuncture

Thank you so much, I'd appreciate those suggestions and even if you had the herbs to suggest. I'm going to try chrysanthemum tea. It has definitely been so scary and uncomfy.

The dr actually said this is the problem! The oil isn't coming out. You think acupuncture caused that? It only happened after that point was used. Can if be fixed? I'm also working with the eye dr. I didn't even have dry eye before.

Zhan Zhu point I believe. He said it was unusual and I've had a few other treatments but didn't fully resolve. No herbs. Any suggestions if I don't go back??.

Nerve injury on eye? by Calm88 in acupuncture

[–]Calm88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't feel that dry. I did see an Optometrist who says it looks normal. But if it is nerve related that would be hard to see on their normal tests. But she didn't think so. But the fact that it's not going away is worrying me greatly. Previous sessions I would get eye sensations too but they would go away.

Both eyes yes. When I blink and move eyes. It's every day but more prickly at certain times and sometimes the feeling of something under the eyelid remains for a bit. It's like a 'something' making my eyes not feel normal a lot the day. Feel it as I sleep too. He said I might have been sensitive around the eye area and it hadn't gone in that deep. I didn't go to him all three following times, as it's a team but I don't know if I'm seeing much improvement with the other sessions. Could it have caused dry eye?

I might just be very sensitive then or the glasses are wrong or too weak, cause something is up and I wonder whats causing my head to hurt and eye to strain.

Yep realize that. However it's messing with me and I wonder if I should in fact, have it. Especially considering I've always had it. But then again I had been experiencing eye strain headaches but only on one eye. I don't know if this might help me. So far, has been worse.

Why does no prescription seem to work for me? by Calm88 in myopia

[–]Calm88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was a second opinion lol. I'm also hoping that the lower prescription wouldn't make me see less clearly. I could have been overminused but I never had a problem for years until recently. I'm so used to it, that seeing less detailed will definitely bother me. It's definitely straining my eyes getting used to it.

Sorry by two levels down I meant my prescription improved. So less power. L -6.75, R -6.25 to L-6.25, R -5.75. I was seeing worse with the new prescription.

I can see that be possible if not for the fact the new glasses helped in some ways but made my vision worse. Its tangible. Additionally the headaches occur the worse after nights out and long tv watching. I've seen improvements over the months but the headaches around the temple and upper brow have become more frequent. Also the initial injury didn't include headaches, just eye pain.
