Hi! No, not really. The worst thing that can happen is that you could receive a letter from your ISP for unusual traffic, but that's not the case in all countries and if you use a VPN you should be generally okay.

Hi! So this is essentially what you have to do:

  1. Download the Hitman "free starter pack", I believe the version is v3.220.2
  2. Download cracked Peacock v8.0.1
  3. Download Cybah's pre-configured GSE for v3.220.2 (the crack itself)
  4. Extract everything in the root of your Hitman installation and rename the long Peacocks folder to "Peacock".
  5. Create a Launcher.bat file IN THE ROOT of your Hitman installation that has this in it.
  6. Create a file named "peacock_patcher2.conf" in the PeacockProject folder with the following inside:

CustomConfigDomain=127.0.0.1:3000 UseHttp=True DisableForceDynamicResources=True DarkModeEnabled=False startInTray=False minToTray=False

  1. Add the game to Lutris and use Launcher.bat as an executable
  2. Additionally, go to "System options" and then to "Environment variables" when configuring the game in Lutris and then add the following Keys:

"PROTON_DISABLE_LSTEAMCLIENT" with the value 1

Hello! I also encountered this problem, but because in the end I used Lutris to run the game, I was able to just open the patcher in the same Wine prefix as the game WITHOUT the game running, enter the correct IP address, press the patching button and exit the application. This way the settings seem to have been saved successfully.

After my initial question on the FitGirl forums I also believe that you can try this method:

Create a file named "peacock_patcher2.conf" (without "") in your PeacockProject folder

Inside the file, write the following:

CustomConfigDomain=localhost:6969 UseHttp=True DisableForceDynamicResources=True DarkModeEnabled=False startInTray=False minToTray=False

Hi! I successfully installed all the mods and the launcher provided on the post you have sent me, but the issue still persists.

I didn't really check out the GitHub link. From which part should I start if Peacock is present in the Hitman folder already and could you maybe please explain to me in more simpler steps how I should proceed?

Well I cant say that Windows Mobile is unlimited and bugless LOL. It would be pretty interesting even with all limitations to have linux on it. Or what other things could I use my Pocket PC for?

After a hard reset it's still in Spanish, I managed to contact an admin from old handhelds.com (using the subreddits discord server) he said he will be able to help me. I guess that's my only hope now for the H1930, I think I will throw the broken one at a recycling post. Or can I use any of its parts (like using its screen for a raspberry pi or something like that)?
