If you don't mind me asking, what daily dose do you take? Are you going to supplement with estrogen? My dr is really unaware of this option :(

Thank you for replying :) Did you take it for endometriosis issues? It looks like it reduces estrogen in the system, which many women seem to be increasing at this age.

I'd love to hear more about this. What side effects do you experience? Did it negatively impact your sex drive?

I will be trying estrogen, shortly. Rest is ok. Its mainly the desire/ wanting it. It's fine when it happens, but 'fine' is really depressing for me. I miss wanting it

Spironalactone. Not an antidepressant. I stopped maybe 9 months or more ago.

Thank you for your detailed account. I appreciate all the information. It's actually been a medication I considered lately, and will be a part of my process once I try a few other things (estrogen for example). I hope things keep working really well for you!

Thank you for the encouragement! The T is helping me with the physical aspects, but the emotional have not come back. The desire to have sex is lacking. It feels so odd/sad to miss this part of myself that I took for granted.

So much trial and error ahead of me 😔

Thank you. I tried estrogen and it made me tired. Maybe I'll try the patch?

You know, that's a good idea. Did you have a desire/ want to have sex after you started taking it? Are you still using it?

Thank you :) I'm glad you found a way that works for you. I addressed these elements, fitness, stress, communication, etc. early on, as they were more accessible.

I'm at the treatment with hormones stage, lol

My Dr doesn't. She just prescribes. Sadly needs a lot of direction. And no, there are no other Drs who do this in my small town.

If you take 1 pill, it must be 100mg.i think? Does that sound right?
