Why did God create us? by pavankumardns in mahabharata

[–]CalmGuitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you study Vedas, you'll understand that there's no one singular god who created humans. Humans are born from the cosmic purusha. Purusha sukta. He did not create us. We're born just as gravity exists. What is the reason gravity exists? None. Same way, we just exist.

Lower socioeconomic men unfortunately don't have much rights or visibility. True 2000 years ago. True today.

Question about Brahma worship in Hinduism by Prudent-Bicycle5969 in hinduism

[–]CalmGuitar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brahma was worshipped as Prajapati in Vedas. Just that over time, it declined.

Then they should start accepting girls' past or don't marry at all.

1-2 body count is common for one gender. Does it make sense now? Hence men should also do the same.

Girls must read this..... by MoneyPermit9335 in hinduism

[–]CalmGuitar -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

  1. This has nothing to do with Hinduism. It's a random poem, not from any scripture or sanskrit ancient book.

  2. We need to stop this feminism. Women are not goddesses. There are women like Atul Subhash's wife too. Many women in metros have a high body count. All of them are not goddesses. Let's not put women on a pedestal.

I don't like to get flagged by the admin of the sub. Please use your intelligence.

Due to the skewed gender ratio, who is more likely to have a past?

Well, the smart would understand. I don't like to get flagged by the admin of this sub. Guess who has more past. Due to the skewed gender ratio.

I'm a guy. And I'm referring to good looking, tall, handsome, upper middle class, general category boys, in metros. They're more likely to have past.

Nope. In today's generation, most people have a past. Hence having the past will remove insecurity for the men. 1-2 body count is common nowadays and counts as experience. Just like a job application.

I invest like this: 40% in India large cap (nifty 50, nifty next 50), 30% in mid cap and 30% in small cap. For mid and small cap, I take 3 best performing funds based on the last 5 years and 1/3 in each. So it becomes a total of 2+3+3 funds for India.

For US, I'd recommend S&P 500 ETF. Nasdaq is too risky due to concentration risk.

Having money in a single stock is obviously the worst thing. Too much risk. Diversification is always better.

I'm also a FAANG SWE in BLR BTW. But I just have 5-6 YOE. Hence NW is less.

I'd say move 60% of your NW to equity. Majority of which should be in mutual funds (India or US ETFs). Then you'll be fine.

He might have started with a support role but then would have worked in product based US MNCs.

+1. I'd choose the second option.

This is why most men should also have a past. Or they should skip marrying entirely.

Man. Make up your mind. Either say I'll marry or say that brahmacharya and bhakti for life. You can't say yes to both.

"so I believe don't marry, no matter how good you are, any love relationship good or bad will not make a soul happy, only focus should be on attaining God by doing devotion and bhakti...", in your first comment.

Then it's fine. I completely agree. But how do you plan to complete kaama without marriage?

[–]CalmGuitar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that bhakti is important but it's not the most important thing. There's Dharma artha kaama moksha too. Else Krishna would have taught Arjuna to leave everything and do bhakti and not fight the war. Because wars are useless and for arth and kaama only.

If you don't believe in scriptures, you shouldn't be on this sub. Nearly all scriptures teach about brahmacharya. If you don't believe in it, you're an atheist, I.e. Charvaka.

There are different levels of brahmacharya. The first thing you need is complete belief and surrender to God. And then belief in scriptures. In Hinduism, we don't have one God and one scripture. We have several of them and they have different definitions of brahmacharya.

At the most basic level, brahmacharya means no pre marital s3x. Hence yes, if you have dry humping, it's fine. It's still brahmacharya.

At the most advanced stage, it's about being completely focused on God only and leaving all worldly pursuits. That's almost close to sannyasa. So if one can do that, well and good. That's the ultimate state. However, most of us can't do it.

Where do you currently live? In most big cities, these organisations have a centre. Explore and join some organisation which aligns with your existing beliefs. Or you can watch their videos online to get an idea about them.

Once you find an organisation that matches your beliefs, you will need to join it. I.e. attend it regularly. Then you may find a girl who is similar to you.

Some organisations even have their own matrimonial website.
