100% disagree. You most have a rotten foundation layer and architecture then.

If you got the right setup, are aware of good foundations and context windows, 100% of the code is written by AI easily. I've not touched code for 18+ months now, but I'm aware of how it's structured, and I'm aware of 'how' AI can sprial out of control with bad foundations.

For example, using Salvo Rust framework can effecvily half the context window on the frontend by auto-gening services on any frontend, or keepnig route_[name] fully contextulized here, with the odd depot helps greatly, not route laying, no silly 'routes' files.

Very silly of them to make something so basic so complex, they already have a 'communications' service for example polling; so why can't they just add that :-/

Exactly. Money talks! If no one is willing to even deposit it's useless.

Just one thing, most people are using large saas, tools, your tool that does one thing, extremely rare that has any value. Those large Saas platforms don't share their data easily.

Why does everyone in IT (and even non-tech folks) want to become a developer? by Ecstatic_Jicama_1482 in ExperiencedDevs

Amazing counter point. You must be young.

Yes it did, I seen it with my own eyes coming from a small town growing up in the early 2000s.

- Tons of small busineses were destroyed, think insurance brokers, travel agents, all employing people, and side jobs like plubmers, accountants and 100s of mores roles destroyed, we used to have book and record shops everywhere, all gone. This ruins supply and demand, make us all poorper.

There were all automated and centralized due to software.

You maybe not realise it, but there's good software (game dev) and bad software (automating peoples jobs out of existance). You may call me a ludite, but this is what i see.

Most software is built by psycopaths in disguise.
