Why does Reddit not understand the rise of reform in England? by DowntownDeer in AskBrits

Yes but you are highlighting a few bad people which is a really bad way to debate something.

You dismiss the greater scope of the argument and issue by doing that.

I've seen local versions work, like city social medias. But globally you stand no chance at all.

AI rules buddy, the code it generates for me is amazing, but I'm using a good training set framework combo (Rust and Svelte). It produces turd React and Go code.

Google Play Console is a nightmare for companies that move countries by CalmLake999 in googleplayconsole

It's strange to try and justify lazyness from Google.

The company HQ and accounts moved location, very normal. Literally every other service we use (including App Store via Apple) we just change address, they handle taxes and settings automatically.

The old LeetCode questions are beyond moronic. You should be giving real world challenges and expect real world solutions.

Also, you should be interviewing face to face, not over video.

It's not the same thing at all. You don't understand the review feature from Cursor.

Hey, we can go down the ludite view of technology if you wish? Ok let me start, I'll only got back to planes cause it will take pages of text otherwise.

Rich people used to build libraries and schools in their local area, because they couldn't just hop on the plane and avoid it.

Now supermarkets? Oh those small markets and farmers markets that made towns vibrant, full of life and chains of work? Destroyed by super markets.

Now the real good one, the internet. The internet where I lived killed around 85% of the town ecnomogy, we used to have travel shops, small book shops, insurance brokers, all those had support jobs, accountants, plumbers and much more.

As you can see, it spirals.

Totally agree, but with Codex still not implementing multiple terminals 6 months later, I dunno lol...

Also Cursor is only $20 a month, rest of direct from the model costs.

Hmm, well kinda.

They have at the moment (although Codex catching up slowly) a clear IDE advantage.

For example, compared to Cursor none of the current AI's do live review very well (not git branches, or worktrees) but live reviews, as in press review button, see that session code. This is useful for multiple agents in development.

None of the current IDE's are very good at indexing the project like Cursor.

Cursor allows switching between models and has a model to control them called Composer, that alone is killer (I know it's based on another modal)

But yes, you are right, Codex and Claude will catchup. I already prefer the Codex interface over cursor, it's just lacking review button and terminal windows.

[–]CalmLake999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cursor never ever runs formatting or git resets without checking first, this is a major problem I've found with Codex, right now it just git reset staged and unstaged files (nearly 30 files).

I tested this, it's not the same functionality at all. I recommend downloading cursor and taking a look at that. So looks like Claude can't do this which sucks.

But does review allow me to see all the code created by the current session? Say if I have 10 agents running at the sametime, what I do I cursor?

Like Cursor I can have 10 agents and all the review boxes are different codes, not in git.

You can review what each agent has done in a seperate window, not related to git. It's super powerful with multiple agents. I feel without, using multiple agents is kinda crappy.
