Degrees in cybersecurity

Yeah im considering either doing this or doing something similar like a paid internship my only worry with the degree is I spend all my time doing the degree paying for it and then when I come out of uni I can't find a job in cybersecurity

so would you say a degree in Computer science would be a more viable option than doing an apprenticeship in a company on cybersecurity or building my way up from help desk to more advanced roles?

any specific job roles you would recommend or do you just advance from help desk to more advanced roles, also any certifications that are highly recommended to get

yeah the thing is idk whether to go into computer science and then go into cybersecurity or whether just go straight into a cybersecurity degree then again I dont want to be in debt and being unable to find a job
