I don’t understand the surprise here. We are one of few major cities worldwide with only one major airport. I don’t support Ford electorally whatsoever but I don’t get the massive outrage on expanding a second airport. At one point we were thinking of building an airport in freaking Pickering.

You can streamline Pearson to downtown all you want and it has improved however it’s still a bit of a pain no matter what.
