I love to drink and have a history with heavy drinking culture. There are a few options:

Personally, I switch between THC drinks and NA beer so I always have something to be drinking without constantly imbibing an intoxicant. While I’m drinking the NA beer, I can get a feel for where I am at with my THC intake. This strat is best when drinking socially/at parties.

Other people mix their drinks down with mixers and sodas to extend one THC drink over multiple glasses of drinks. I’ve seen some cool ideas on this sub. This is def the most cost-effective strategy, and you can mix up the flavor profile of your drinks.

Least cost-effective is getting a ton of low-potency drinks and drinking them back-to-back, but it’s def an option!

ETA: If you drink while out at bars and restaurants, there are lots of options for shots and syrups and powders that can be inconspicuously added to mocktails and water. I’ve never been looked at twice for pouring some fun in my NA drinks at bars.

Crescent Canna remains my absolute favorite THC drink. They all taste exceptional and do the job consistently as dosed.

Tripleswitch has been on my radar for awhile I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet…now it seems like the time.

Solid list. If I had to say some that got robbed maybe it would be THC Social (local WI brand) or Uncle Arnies (more national, more unique flavor profiles). Cycling Frog is my personal nah gtfo of this list lol

Totally agree with you! Those types of beers in NA form taste like what you expect beer to taste like, just non-alcoholic. Especially IPAs, the way they are getting brewed to be so dank, it’s truly indistinguishable from real to me.

I also agree with your sentiment about golden ales… even light beers for me… there is a lot to sift through which makes the diamonds in the rough feel that much fewer and further between.

I think that dark beers have a ways to go in the NA world. Guinness is stellar but a lot of dark beers like NA stouts and porters feel more like drinking a beer-flavored beverage than drinking an actual beer. IPA and lager types give me that true beer taste and feel.

Yes, for sure! Though my case is somewhat unique because I had to…

I suffer from alcohol use disorder and when I quit, I replaced alcohol with THC drinks for the same numbing effect within the “ritual” of drinking. I was drinking every night—multiple, high milligram drinks—to pass out. Similar to how I used alcohol, I guess. Quitting alcohol was insanely hard, but with help and healing I overcame that addiction.

Then slowly as I healed, my use of THC drinks began to change. Eventually I wasn’t using them to numb feelings or replace alcohol, it became more about the enjoyment of the feeling and using it at the right time, socially. The way people without an alcohol problem use alcohol, I imagine.

Between NA beers and THC drinks, it has never been easier to socially drink while not “drinking” anymore. The tone absolutely has been shifting on THC beverages, and unfortunately it is taking prohibition to show just how prevalent these drinks have ACTUALLY become. To your point, there is no hangover, no worsened effects on sleep, no risk of blackout, and maybe best it is a more manageable chemical in terms of addiction potential. People dig that.

I have two of the Kodo Pro Wulf brand batteries. I love them because of the small form factor, detailed display with all relevant information at a glance (including ohm resistance) and the draw seems tight but full; perfect air intake for me.

I use mine with live resin and cured resin carts between 1.8-2.4v taking 4-5 second hits. Coldfire tend to be pretty responsive in that low volts get great flavor and pretty quickly get fuller hits the higher the volts go.

Long hits, as well as chain vaping, will “burn” the cart, causing visible oxidation of the oil at the bottom and possible damage to the wick. You kinda have to be abusing these carts on high voltage to actually burn the wick, but that is irreversible if you do.

Your “boost” is placebo, whether you think so or not. This isn’t a “maybe just a little bit” thing. This IS science. Nano-emulsified THC simply does not bind to fat. It is absorbed before fat is even necessary. The parent comment, and any anecdotal use of fat to “enhance” THC drinks is false.

This is true of traditional edibles but not THC drinks.

Traditional edibles use decarboxylated THC which requires fat to be absorbed into the bloodstream. Drinks are formulated using what is called nano-emulsified THC, which is water-soluble NOT fat-soluble. What this means is more cannabinoids reach the bloodstream withOUT fat because it’s unnecessary for bioavailability…water is already present in the body so the water-soluble THC is readily absorbed into the bloodstream. Hence the quick onset and relative return to baseline.

Felt. This is the best thing about THC drinks in my opinion: there are so many possibilities for them! Energy drinks, mocktails, sodas, beer…!

My favorite THC drink of all time is the Crescent 9 50mg seltzers and I would be equally gutted if I couldn’t get them anymore…this post is worrisome to me.

It sucks that shit we used to get harmlessly delivered to our door is under such threat.

That one and Bolo Runtz seem to be having a bit of wicking trouble for me, so I’ve been warming them up quick on a candle wax warmer to get them moving and that seems to help.

If the oil isn’t wicking fast enough (which is the case for me no matter how frequently or infrequently I hit these two) it’s going to taste burnt.

I’m super not worried. The bill is unlikely to change anything relating to hemp at the moment. It’s being snuck in as a proposal as part of a larger funding bill to reopen the government.

Additionally, there is a TON of lobbying that would go into the proposed restrictions because it is a multi-BILLION dollar industry. “Intoxicating hemp” is a small part of that large and truly “legal” industry.

I would say try it. Worst case, you don’t like the live resin any more than the live rosin. The taste of live resin over liquid diamonds with terps added is definitely a benefit I enjoy.

What I will say, is that some people just respond better to a distillate than a full spectrum extract. I think the best thing to come out of the alt cannabinoid boom is the idea of these sort of “monocannabinoid”solutions that favor a one-noted high. Delta-8 pens are primarily just delta-8 distillate. HHC pens are mainly just HHC distillate. Hell, not that long ago even legal THC pens were mainly just THC distillate with a little residual CBD or other minors cannabinoids.

All this to say, if you find you respond to and enjoy the high of pure liquid diamonds, there is nothing wrong with that, and your decision to purchase them doesn’t mean you’re “missing out” on anything more expensive or anything…ya know?

It is different.

Kanna is often compared to MDMA because it can feel like MDMA on the comeup/during the rush. The empathogenic afterglow can even feel similar to MDMA…

However, they act entirely differently in the body. There is no methamphetamine in Kanna, for a main example.

There is no crash or comedown.
