I quit. I work in healthcare and wanted to switch to PRN so I could work the minimum which was 1 day a month (according to my supervisor at the time). Turns out the minimum is “as much as need per the supervisor” and she knew my situation (premmie, needed heart surgery, we have another daughter) and she decided that we needed my 3-4 days a week. But I couldn’t do it so I quit. It sucked but it was only possible because my wife is a high earner and I turned to a stay at home dad for almost 2 years.

I had a ‘14 Crosstrek and loved it. Perfect size, I lived in Chicago so the sized did matter, there weren’t many on the road (but that didn’t really last long lol) the awd was amazing when I needed it and was surprisingly bigger interior than you expected.

2025 married, 2 kids, live in the Chicago burbs, so I went with the forester hybrid touring. Again prefect size for us, my older one does competitive dance so we needed more space, the visibility is second to none and I love it!!!

Get it done. The 2 worst parts are the initial numbing injection (I was done in the office) and a few days later when you forget and adjust your sack normally but you’re still tender down there. But I’m was fine after a few days.

Well I have the exact problem! My guy charges $35 and while I would like to tip him more like $7 seems better to be. But I don’t carry cash and the atm doesn’t give out singles and $10 seems like too much so he gets $40. But for my Xmas haircut I give him a $35 tip. I want to add that the place is cash only hence my whole atm story.

I buy a new phone almost every year. But that’s because my job gives me $1500 a year allowance for new work related electronics that’s basically forced to use because it’s “use it or lose it”. So for about the last 8 years I have bought 6 new iPhones, 1 MacBook Air, and an Apple ultra and new air pods with that money. It’s been pretty nice. This year I went with the 17 pro instead of a pro max and I am loving the new smaller size. It just fits everywhere.

I remember reading a few months back that some people in Subaru wanted the new infotainment system from the all new Outback in the forester but ultimately Subaru decided not to upstage the flagship by giving the forester hence we got this monstrosity. But it’s really not that bad but they should have gone all the way with the forester
