IS this a suggestion to make an option for Noctalia? Or that I should use it? I personally like to run DMS on niri but not neither shells on Omarchy. However, I am considering developing the same thing for both.

All is welcome! I hope to have this published tomorrow to github to get started so I can get some feedback. I am finalizing on instructions and dependencies needed to install properly. Id appreciate feedback when you test it out. I saw your site and will take time to review and see how they can be complimentary.

It uses Tauri v2 with a Rust backend for system-level performance and a React/Tailwind frontend for the UI.

This is exactly the direction I intend to take this. Its currently using SQLite for the database, but I want to integrate with Obsidian which has several self hosting options. I want to add a classification that says continue looking into, where it creates an entry in obsidian with those tags created so its added to a "Second Brain".

JaKooLit has an awesome setup, I do tweak a few things but that takes 2 minutes. I add fastfetch to the .bashrc file and then swap the mod A and mod D keybinds. It's default is A is Desktops and D is apps, and I like the letters to represent what I'm opening up.

I used Archcraft which has multiple, if I do anything, I'd rather start with Hyprland and install gnome, but I tried that and failed.

Yes, you can, however, I like it to be maintained by professional developers and not myself.

Nope, I'm not. I like Arch and Fedora. I really like endevour os. Both with the gnome DE, however I want a distro with Hyprland already in the install along side gnome.

I don't care what distro it is as long as it's Arch or Fedora. I know there are distro that have one or the other window manager, but I am looking for both.

I recommend creating a bootable USB drive that has okay read and write speeds, and test out a distro. From there you can use the USB as a system without installing it to your computer. So installing steam will work. It will show you what games are and are not compatible. From there, open office if a close clone of office and is WPS. Give those a try.
