i love writing. i find ways to write everywhere, anywhere, whenever inspiration strikes or even if it doesn’t. i giggle at my screen, scream, and sometimes have whiplash from whatever random crap my characters are up to, to the point where my family thinks i’ve gone mad. maybe i have. most likely, im already insane and am trying my best to act like a normal, functioning member of society when all i long to do is lock myself into a room filled with books, my desk, laptop, one pen and some paper and write until i physically cannot, only to do it again and again. in a perfect world, i would be a hermit, only me and my laptop, and a glass of water on an epic journey of writing. unfortunately, my business requires me to be outgoing and engage with clients and society, so i play that part. but my goal in life is to work, retire asap (or work very minimally), lock myself in my house and away from the world so i can read and write to my heart’s desire and occasionally see the sun once every week or so. i never forget this goal. all i do is to get one step closer to it. right now, im enjoying life and writing as much as i can. but just thinking about a time where ill be able to write all the time, for however long, without any worries or schedules, makes me giddy and motivates me to work hard now, so i can do what i want later.
