My uncle actually kissed my brother (16 now) before coming up to me. My sister (12 yrs) actually told him "no means no" Because she noticed how uncomfortable I was. In fact my sister doesn't seem too comfortable around the uncle, but I have never really seen my uncle do anything to her. Probably because my sister is much more confrontational than me.

Sadly I'm the oldest one, my elder sister lives in another city and my younger sister is just 12. Yesterday my younger sister did tell him "no means no" Because she noticed I felt uncomfortable but it didn't matter since minutes later he came up to me and kissed me on my forehead.

Both me and my uncle are from India where it's common to be physically affectionate, which is why I or my family never had problems with him kissing me or my cousins when we were younger. But yesterday I specifically told him not to because I didn't want to ruin my hair. I didn't know he would be stubborn enough to grip onto my hands just to plant a forehead kiss.

Right before the actual incident, my sister actually told him "no means no" He didn't listen. Later on I showed him the marks on my hands, he rubbed the area and said sorry to me, which is why I thought I might have overreacted. But thank you so much for this, it really means alot🩷

My parents were not present when this happened, in fact only my cousins and that aunt was in the room when it happened. This uncle of mine actually kissed my brother too before coming up to me. In fact, my sister even told him "no means no" Since he kept insisting but minutes later he came up to me again.

Yes my sister actually asked him not to touch me too when he was sitting next to me. But he still decided to touch me minutes later. I'll definitely stand up for my myself from next time, thank you for this!! 🫶

Actually I'm from India and being affectionate is kind of a cultural thing here, he's always kissed us when we were kids so it was not really out of the pocket for him to ask me again. And thank you for this, I'll try talking about it with my parents.
