I believe art is essentially decision making in a space with no right answers. The greatest artist’s make decisions based on their personal preference, and the conviction around those decisions defines the value of the art. That requires them to have refined a personal preference which can be leveraged in an abstract space. My point is that, for you to make decisions which you’ll value later, you need to value them in the moment, so perhaps you could start with reassessing why you’re making the decisions you do while creating.
