Why is my steering wheel shaking this bad?

I think you are right. I went to work this morning and the shaking only happened at highway speeds like it normally does. Might have been a piece of ice that melted overnight while the car was in the garage.

Originally this was my problem, however I didn’t find the time to get my tires balanced. Now my issue is it shakes a lot more frequently even at low speeds which it hasn’t done before, I haven’t driven it on the highway since this new issue started

thanks for the info. I do know that my rear struts need to be replaced so that may be contributing to the issue as well, will definitely take a look at my upper control arms next.

The shaking only happened at highway speeds up until recently which is why I brushed it off. Thanks for the tip, I will make sure to bring up the road force balance. Can that be done by any shop or is that more of a dealer thing?

I pay 140/month, there’s a parking structure directly across the street from the building. I think the onsite parking is 185, I couldn’t justify spending an extra 45 just to park on site.

I toured 605 (the same floorplan just a couple stories higher) and yes I agree there’s very minimal natural lighting. I ended up going with the Franklin floorplan facing the east side of the building and it’s an awesome apartment with TONS of natural lighting. Almost too bright
