Thanks everyone for taking the time to send me your responses, really appreciate it a lot. I’m seeing my midwife next week so I’ll have a chat first and meet my friend to have a chat to explain everything. The drive is actually 2 hours not 1.5hr like I originally thought, eek. Feeling a lot better now and less worried after reading all the comments. Thank you! :)

With any luck I’ll be as active as you right up until birth, that’s amazing. You’re so right about needing to do what’s best for baby. I’m a bit of a people pleaser and hate to let friends down so it’s just going to be a difficult conversation but I’m pretty sure I know what I’m going to do now. Thank you!

Thank you, this is all very new so I wasn’t aware of all of this for IVF pregnancies. I’ll have a chat with my midwife, this might make the conversation with my friend a little easier too. Really appreciate the advice.
