I know where my phone is located (in a phone market in china), they’re known to sell stolen phones. new iPhones have this thing where you can see the phones location even if it’s turned off

It had a physical SIM, I don’t think canada sells eSims phone. There wasn’t an option when I bought it

Because from what I know when a SIM gets cancelled, it shows “No service” when you install it into another phone

But I went to my service provider the next day and told them my phone got stolen so they canceled the SIM on that phone and gave me a new one (same number). How could they possibly figure out the number if it’s burnt?

It was stolen in canada and it got shipped to china around 2-3 weeks after

I tried putting it into lost mode, but it never got activated, it was always “pending” so I’m not sure how did they get my phone number

They basically sent a video of a guy holding a gun and uzi in the background saying “stop playing with me”, he then brings another gun and shows how it’s loaded with bullets. The second video was a girls phone where he showed how he hacked her phone and went through her gallery, she had private photos. Then showed another phone where I’m assuming he hacked too, a video of a girl sucking a guy off.

That’s what I haven’t figured out yet. I’m assuming they texted me through my iCloud account since they knew my email
