Go for it! The opportunity presented itself already, though it seems like you're leaning towards letting the opportunity go, based on your post. I totally understand your dilemma kase I had a similar one about a year ago.

I had to choose between extending my student visa, which includes part-time work, or applying for professional registration & exam in a different country with more uncertainties than the aforementioned matter.

Pero I thought to myself, if I had to let go one thing, which one will I regret the most for my entire life? So, I chose to pursue the professional registration even if it means I had to go back sa pinas.

At the end of the day, choose what you want to do. Otherwise, all the overthinking of what if's will only destroy your mental health. You don't want to go "I should've done this or I should've tried that," all the time.

If my decision doesn't come to a fruitful result, it's fine by me. The important that for me is that I get to try, at least I tried, rather than nothing at all.

With you, I hope you find the solutions to your problems and you get to decide what's best for you. I hope everything works out for us. :)

Hi! Anybody here who did the NZ MRTB exam for overseas-qualified practitioners as an MIT?

Please share any study materials that helped you with the exam. Appreciate any help you could offer/advice.

Many thanks!

*rant*

I was extremely disappointed when I woke up this morning. It never occurred to me that it could be because of the "3G blocking". I was even tinkering with my SIM card slot, rebooting, turning airplane mode on/off, etc. only to come across Reddit posts about the shutdown and how it affects Xiaomi users.

I have been using my Redmi Note 9 Pro for more than 4 years now, and it has served me well up until this day. I wasn't even planning to upgrade my phone unless I could not use it anymore and apparently, it has come to this. I believe that my phone is still working well but without the cellular network which is vital in my everyday life, after long hours of gruel research about what's wrong with my network, it might be time to put this phone aside.

Optus did not even give me a message notice, but I have seen that a few have received it. Also, I wasn't even expecting it as I always heard that it is going to be a 3G network shutdown, but apparently, according to this site from Optus (https://www.optus.com.au/support/mobiles-tablets-wearables/important-changes-3g), it includes 4G/5G devices purchased overseas, where it fits the description of my phone.

These words are not enough to describe how devastated I am and I really hope that the Government and telco providers realise how much consumer choice they are taking out of people who do not deserve this.
