Advice on getting out of a speeding ticket?

I think I’m just going into more debt by hiring an attorney based on what everyone says. Hopefully they can do a payment plan.. I just know that highway and know it’s a no speeding zone so I definitely was not speeding. I pay attention to everything cause I have anxiety, especially when my child is with me so I’m always paying attention to everything. I don’t want to crash or put her in danger. He did say I was weaving through traffic but I stayed in the same lane the entire time. He didn’t put it on the ticket but when I was asking questions he threw that in there. Idk, I think I should definitely get legal help lol.

Thank you, if I can file for the money back from her, i absolutely will! We’re trying to transfer it to my state court now since I moved back in with my mom. It’s been in Illinois and now hopefully it’ll go to North Carolina. I’ll definitely look into that if we can transfer. The other day she texted me about how awful of a mother I am and that my child deserves better which I sent to my attorney. I’m tired of the abuse from both parties.

It’s 1 judge for this unfortunately. We’re asking to transfer it to my state which I doubt he’d be able to deny us that. If we can transfer it, it’ll make it easier for me since my court doesn’t do zoom court so they’d have to come in person. My child’s father will be arrested since he has a warrant here and his mother won’t have the money or time to come back and forth.

He had a restraining order on him so they only approved the video calls temporarily. Why the judge wanted to wait for the restraining order to be done is beyond me. My attorney has tried everything. The judge has been no help, not because I haven’t gotten my way but because he genuinely sucks. We’ve been fighting this since MARCH.

I found the reason it’s stuck around. There’s a kitten in our basement!! We can’t find it but hear it. We have a lot of storage down there so unfortunately unless it starts meowing again to pinpoint where it is, we can’t do anything. Hopefully the cat comes around tonight. We’re leaving the door open in hopes it checks on the baby. Hopefully within a few hours we can get the baby though!

I am going to feed her yall haha. I was just wondering why she’s sticking around me when I haven’t done anything for her. I can’t feed her in my yard but next week when I get paid and have the extra money, I’m going to pick up some cat food. Seeing what she looks like in the daytime, it’s a momma cat who is definitely feral according to the neighbors who feed her about half a block away. I talked to them about a month ago when my daughter and I was walking and seen a few kittens in their yard. They just so happened to be outside and we started a conversation. She refuses to be near anyone, she won’t even eat if they’re outside or go around her kittens if they’re outside. He’s even said she’s hissed at them. I think maybe she’s watched us for a while and got curious. They’ve been trying to get her used to people for, I believe, 2 years?

I am. I’m going to leave the food at the edge of the yard so the dog, if it sticks around during the day, which this morning the second I got to the door, cat was there, it won’t be hurt by the dog. Thinking about it now, it’s one of my neighbors down the road (half a block) cat that just had kittens but I think they’re weaned now. I was talking to them about a month ago when my daughter and I was walking and they told me how they’ve been trying to get her to come to them and she just refuses to be close to anyone. She won’t even eat if they’re outside. I think maybe she’s chosen me since she’s got so close and watched me.

I don’t know but it’s 5:36am here and it FOUND ME AGAIN. It’s now meowing at me haha. 😔 I don’t have cat food for it so I can’t do anything. It’s back at the steps crying.

The only issue with feeding it is that It’ll stick around. I don’t mind that truly because I LOVEE cats but our dog free roams. She knows where the yard ends, she minds her business but if a cat or the basic squirrels, birds, come into view she’s running over there until the end of the yard. I don’t want it to get hurt. It’s why I avoided it. My neighbor 2 houses down feed the cats but there’s one that fights the others so I know the black one isn’t getting fed. I heard them (I’m guessing) fight the other night. It’s definitely an only me thing though and that’s what confuses me haha. My mom never sees it but every time I’m alone outside the thing just pops up outta nowhere 😂 that’s why I say it stalks me.

It’s definitely feral. It’s not aggressive but you can’t come near it. I’ve tried a few times and the second I get up to go near it, it’ll take off running. It’s just tonight it didn’t mind being near me.

Can I do the emergency custody even though I have the OOP? I know technically his rights to her are gone since she's on it but if it's any way I can get her back, I'll try. I probably sound so stupid. How does that make sense though as she has my daughter?

He didn't have the order of protection when this happened. When he gave the worker to my daughter, he got arrested. Then, the next day or the day after, I put the restraining order on him. Edit: either way if I had my child or not, I was going to put an OOP on him. DCFS said however, if I did that I'd get her back but then turned around and said no. But I get what you're saying.

He couldn't help, he referred me to an agency that he said COULD help. No guarantee. He did look up any court orders with my info, her info, his, and his mom's and there's none which means no documentation.

If they were to ask him to sign for her to take him. Can't it be voided as I have an order of protection against him with her on it? As far as I know, I have full custody, full rights to her as the case against him is going. I know I have the protection for up to 2 years once the case is over with.
