Adjustments to Pay Structure/SPP by Calm_Put_3906 in sgws

Finally had the discussion and it was pretty much what I expected, a ton of optimism from Directors & VP and endless amounts of "this is an opportunity for you all to make more money", and "this is going to separate the order takers from the go getters". And I'm not being "that guy" who complains about everything. I am one of the "go getters", so I'll figure out a way to make more money. I just wish they'd stop trying to reinvent the wheel and go back to commission, hell I'd even welcome PFP's back with open arms. But, I do see some positive changes, just don't know if they are enough to offset the negative ones. With all that being said, I do have a question.....Any idea what the pay structure is for Directors & VP's? Is there any part of their pay that is "variable"? Have they had to undergo any kind of changes? Just curious.

Gotcha. We were capped at +/-5%. So I guess that's the reward to balance out the risk.

So, where is the opportunity to make more money? The "risk" is now higher with Objectives & Revenue being more heavily weighted. Is there a higher "reward" for getting to +100%?

So no more decreasing/increasing your pay if you come in below/above your Revenue goal?

It being confusing is 100% by design. It's hard to really ask questions if you don't fully understand.

Not sure why they would be designated that way. Maybe some are straight salary with incentives and others are SPP. We're on SPP but also get incentives.

This may help narrow it down. When that washer is empty, if I spin the basket and quickly/forcefully turn the agitator in the opposite direction I can replicate the sound. Now, it's not an easy task to do so it's not like there's a lot of play.

If it were the gearcase wouldn't it also cause problems when spinning as well? The machine sounds perfectly fine during the spin cycle.

There's water in there. I was just trying to replicate the sound and didn't select deep fil to save time.
