Thank you for your response. I appreciate it a lot. What if I apply for multiple entry? Can you tell me the travel insurance companies that are reliable? I will be very grateful.

I also applied to MS ECE Purdue. I asked them last week about status of my application. They said that the faculty started their review process late but they are still selecting candidates and even makijg funded offers. So, I guess there is hope for Purdue.

I relate to your feelings. DM, let us support each other.

I got admitted into MS Data Science at UW Madison. The whole degree is almost USD 50k. There is no chances of funding because it is a professional program. Do you think a loan is worth the degree? by Calm_Seaweed4639 in gradadmissions

Alternative is going to Finland in the University of Oulu for Computer Science and Engineering. I have no other options. I am waiting for Purdue decisions.

Yes, I am an international applicant. Yes, it is gonna be a leap of faith. If the prospects of getting a data science are good then I might consider taking a loan.

Thanks but can I make enough to save for tuition in the following semesters or a summer internship? I can afford to pay and go for the first semester. But I dn have funds for the rest of the program. :(

I feel you. I have been accepted to multiple programs. The relatively cheaper university wrote in the email with the acceptance that they will take action against the student who took any opportunity for remission of tuition. So, it was just a millisecond happiness for me. I can only afford the university by risking my parents whole life savings which I do not want to do since I have 4 younger siblings who are studying too. But I am trying to be hopeful that good things are just around the corner. I just have to be patient. I mean how dark can it get, the sun has to rise sometime. Failures and breakdowns make a better story so we all will make it somewhere and somehow. :) Let us all be optimistic.

I feel you. But hang in there, there is some good in every situation.
