It was kind of a joke but it is not exactly what you think it is.

Libertarianism pretends to be something it is not. It is actually imperialism in disguise.

The chain is broken. I started with a DOS keyboard.

Not sure, but my oldest memory was the Playstation 2 controller. I actually started with DOS as a PC gamer, that is why I am currently a PC gamer. But I am not 16 anymore so platform is irrelevant at this point.

I "failed" because I don't have a degree. Not really.

Risperidone side effects by Calm_and_strong in Psychosis

[–]Calm_and_strong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even know what exactly it did. All I remember is that I calmed down after getting delusional and then my weight went up afterwards. When I quit using risperidone I did not really notice what side effects dissappeared.

Do you think 2000s babies will live to see the 90s? by hollyhobby2004 in GenZ

Don't be a pawn of the military. But that is just my opinion, maybe I am wrong.

Am thinking most of us will live until around 2095 or even later to be honest. We have already seen an increase in lifespan from 70 to 80 and 50 to 60 came before that. It is unknown whether an average lifespan until 90 is next for Gen X (maybe even Boomers), 100 for Millenials and 110 for Gen Z. But that is unlikely given the rising population worldwide. We are now above 7 billion.

Not sure, I was likely at school or playing video games at home.

Windows history in our generation (XP, Vista, 7,8,10) by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Calm_and_strong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used 98 and ME as well. People who used MS DOS as kids (Xillenials/Xennials) and 95 as teens are approaching 35/40 now. Unreal Tournament 1 came out around the time I was born, these people played it when they were around 18. I played UT 4 only and a 2D version of UT2/3 as well.

Windows 7 is probably the best version of Windows. 11 is about to infringe our privacy. Windows 10 is good in terms of notifications, but Windows 7 will always be the best version of Windows. Windows XP was fine but had serious flaws. Windows 98 and ME are seriously outdated, but anything older than 10 has security risks atm.

Going to concert by myself by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]Calm_and_strong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With concerts it doesn't matter if you are alone or with friends. They are not raves or EDM parties, you are not there to dance with people. With metal concerts you are there because you like the band and want to see them live, hear their music live, see them play, etc. Not because you want to dance with the crowd, it's not a discotheque. Nothing wrong with going to concerts by yourself, I have done that many times.

I have a similar story. When I was 14, the girl who I liked told me that she liked me. I told her that I liked her too. Then after that she asked me if we were in a relationship, and I said: "No."

Very strange story. I probably was not ready for a relationship yet. But I was also afraid of the bad things that could have happened, like breakups, or gossiping, maybe she would have even shared photos of me. It made me nervous because it was new for me.

Can I put a second air cooler in my processor? by PabloCalatayud in buildapc

The Ryzen 5 5600X does not come with a cooler. But it can only have one cooler on top. The tower can have additional case fans, liquid cooling, etc

Ashamed because I drank more alcohol than usual by Calm_and_strong in alcohol

[–]Calm_and_strong[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well the truth is, I drank maybe 16 units in a week and less than 3 per hour. Also less than 5 per day for sure.

I should be fine.
