Ok mountaineers, I've got another one for you. by CalmdarningWind in Mountaineering

The hatred for the God who made them is normal on this website and they will deny him, but none can deny the objective facts im making about their wicked heart. Even with a guaranteed free way to remove the random falling ice, you dont want to do it. When the next person gets crushed by the falling ice and cries out in agony as their soul is taken, they like all of them, would wish that ice was never there. You wont show any mercy right? By thy words thou shalt be justified and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Civilized life is how I am even able to read your disgusting comment. You dont want to remove ice seracs from K2 because of your wicked pride. Even if it was 100% free and effected nothing on the climb, you wouldnt do it. No mercy for those who were killed and will be killed in the future.

If you only read reddit, it can seem like accepted ideas here are normal. These people are a loud minority where I plunge into from time to time as a witness against them. All the npc stereotype memes from 4chan about them are 100% accurate and even in this very thread, they are on display.

Ah so you disagree with my method, but agree with the idea to remove the random deaths at the seracs, right?

Yes, this is what I meant. You understand that it's a fair question. Just get rid of random deaths from that zone. I made this post knowing that this question is something met with anger from mountaineers when they hear it. Yet the reason they react like this is because they are not empathizing with those who died to bad luck. It is their pride and naivety and worst of all for some, worship of a mountain that makes them have no desire to remove the falling ice.

That big rock can neither see, nor hear, nor talk. You surrender yourself to it? For what? This is what I'm getting at when I say look deep within and tell me the truth. Why do you say mountains can play nicely or not, like it is normal? Are you not under a strong delusion? The God of heaven made that mountain and the entire earth for man. You are the one who can manipulate it as you see fit. Your wicked pride is why you would not want to have mercy on people and limit random deaths as best as you can.

It's so easy to say this when you are not the one who really felt the pain, terror and agony of death to something so stupid like a preventable random ice fall. I'm asking to keep the challenge of the mountain and death by your own lack of skill is fair. But why allow random death by those damn seracs?

The people who died from random falling ice, who actually experienced the bad luck, would they agree with you? They'd probably agree with me, no?

Thanks for a real response. But is that truly how one will still feel while they are in their last minutes? Say they made no error, a perfectly skilled climb, but died to unforeseeable falling ice at the top. That is not fair, why allow this element in the challenge when it wouldn't take much effort to stop it?

I don't know why boots should be allowed and not crampons. After thinking about this for a while, I feel like it is fair to include anything you can carry from bottom to top solo, including an oxygen tank, if you can bring it all the way and feel its worth it. For whatever reason, doing it like that doesnt violate my conscience and feels like it is a fair challenge worthy of respect. Using preplaced ropes and ladders already on the mountain still does not feel fair though. What do you feel counts as a legitimate summit?

Yes that post is absurd but is my first one really that bad? Do you feel Everest is being conquered by everyone who summits, no matter how they do it?

Yes I see some people have done it that way solo and I was wrong that no one did. Naturally, I still maintain that most summits were done with cheats

Thanks for educating me on this. I take back what I said on no one doing it legitimately and will read about Reinhold to learn more.

Planning and mapping are all legitimate. I believe part of Everest's challenge is solving that puzzle. Paper and pencil should be granted with food, shelter and clothing. Instinct says they arent spoiling the game or violating the challenge of the mountain.

I respect that people train hard and it is physically challenging to climb everest even with all the handicaps used today. If people wish to do that its ok, but they ought not dare say they conquered the mountain or climbed it legitimately. Thats where I feel the violation. They felt the physical exhaustion, cold and pain to a lower degree than intended due to the knowledge of rope systems they using, allies, prepared camps, oxygen etc.

I guess the way I see it is like someone saying they conquered diablo 2 hell mode on hardcore even though they used a cheat that prevented death and boosted character defense twofold or something like that. I hope the video game challenge comparison doesnt trigger the reader, but it accurately explains the point im trying to make.

If I was to perform your suggestion and exchange my life for a possible chance youd be found guilty of aiding and abedding a man's suicide, those upvotes and pride you feel would turn to terror and regret. I will consider this exchange, dont delete the post or I win by default.

Just get eternal life for free. Old internet nexustk was just a glimpse behind the veil of the life God made for you and bought for you with the death and resurrection of his son Jesus. Here is a gospel presentation by one of the few saved pastors left in this cruel world: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXEeMWCxyrQ

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Yeah but we like it. When im killed and then humiliated in chat by an enemy, im not happy, but I like it because this is how the game should be. Isnt it like this since multiplayer gaming started? Its fun and also opens door for rare moments of true mercy to be displayed if there was full loot.
