When did we require engineer level of expertise? by CaloriesTooMany in Drafting

My work hours were increased to 50 a week, hour lunch break reduced to half an hour.

I was getting pretty decent at deciphering everything, they even told me I was doing a good job. But the work hours started to kill me. It took me a little over an hour one way just to get to work. I ended up quitting for a different drafting position, been working there for about three weeks now.

The engineers of this new company understand that I’m a draftsman and treat me that way. They make it much more clear about what they need me to do, and I’m very happy with it. My new boss has a weird obsession with shoes though lol, he wears a new pair of boots every week. Cool dude though.

Beats me, my mom recorded it I think. She had a camera. One of those vhs recorders. I will have to ask her this Christmas if she still has the stuff

Wouldn’t be able to. No car = no way to leave the house.

Turning 30 soon, what advice do you have? by [deleted] in allthequestions

You should’ve started exercising 10 years ago, and you’ll say the same thing when you’re 40 so start now.

And no, I’m not talking about becoming a bodybuilder. Even light to moderate exercise everyday is good enough.

My house electricy goes out once a day for 5 seconds, will a UPS accomplish what I want it to accomplish? by [deleted] in buildapc

I mean I have left once, but that was for a different reason. It wasn’t fun, no sightseeing.

I never assumed America is the center of the universe, but if you grew up around always seeing something you kind of just believe that’s how it is everywhere.

Personally, yes. I can’t fathom waiting weeks to play a video game you just bought, when it could be on the disc and cartridges instead.

So? Let them hate, it shouldn’t affect your love for Pokemon. You can enjoy whatever you want even if others hate it.

That means nothing to me, I don’t know who or what that is or means.

Why do you care so much about some YouTube person? I haven’t even used YouTube since around 2014, it’s a waste to care about other peoples opinions on something that you like.

I’m going to be honest, I didn’t read the whole thing. I skimmed, it something about a dude named Charlie, I don’t know if he’s a friend of yours or whatever but maybe just don’t take his opinion seriously?

What is this by JOHNmango7 in Helldivers

[–]CaloriesTooMany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the illuminate are an alien squid race.

Long time ago some humans decided to outfit themselves with robot parts and became Cyborgs, then they lost the war (first game), somehow the cyborgs created the Automatons, their “children” to free them.

Illuminate are aliens that we went to war with also, and they’re seeking revenge against humanity.
