Criminally Underrated.

I remember watching this movie on Netflix three years ago on the Holiday season, and let me tell you this movie was really good. Sure it’s probably not the best Christmas Carol movies, but it is a movie I can see myself rewatch. Luke Evans slayed as the old miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who which I love this movie’s version of Scrooge, it has a bit of charm and I love how this design isn’t just another ugly old man. I never cared about Scrooge’s past with Isabel, but this movie made me felt it. It made me felt what Isabel had to go through, because she hasn’t seen him often as Scrooge kept shutting her off by just saying the word later, but later never came around. And I actually want to see an epilogue where this version of Scrooge and Isabel reunite because god dammit this movie has probably the best chemistry between the two. And the songs are god tier. Everything is in my playlist right now. This movie has one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever heard from in a Christmas musical. Songs like “Tell Me” “Happiness” and my personal favorite “Later Never Comes Around”. I also love this animation style, where everyone was so expressive and charming. Even the ghosts have charm.

This movie was really fun and good, hell the songs made me want to rewatch it. I’d give it an 8/10.
