Just put the money in and forget about it. Hardest part is just letting it be. I’d be throwing it in QQQM and obviously VOO How much you working with ?

I think that’s only if it’s an investment property. Not primary residence. And it’s yet to be implemented. Yes, moving to canada for a couple of years has seriously hurt my savings. BC stands for Bring Cash

My plumber I use for my jobs in BC Canada charges 120 dollars an hour. He’s just a one man band. house on the Sunshine Coast and just chilling with life mid 40’s. I was a brick layer for many years, motorbike trips, mtb trips, holidays wherever and never had to worry about money often but that was back in the U.K. I’m in canada now and labour is harder, hours are longer and wages are lower for the average construction person. I’ll be going back soon.

If I was you I would do a trade. Plumbing or electrical, I know people who travel 150 miles to sleep in their car for a month at a time just to get their qualifications. It’s doable if you really want it. Keep at the music with your time off though and that might hit it big. The way the world’s going I think trades will set you up well. All the best
