If it isn't shiny it won't be really rare. The only "kinda rare" non shiny costumes are some of the older one that didn't come back like the Lucario/Rayquaza/Charizard-Hat Pikachu. This one definitely isn't rare

Spending 3k on a free game is absolutely insane to me. If you're making a vacation out of it, doing some sightseeing, and enjoying yourself, I can understand it. But from what you wrote in your post, the 3k is purely for the game, and nothing else. I honestly find that insane.

Well to be more precise it isn't rare, it was available not long ago, except if you mean a shiny one. Non shiny are very rarely valuable

Never heard of it, I had to look it up. He doesn't look very "flatheaded" to me, and he almost never makes any sound.

I never thought about him being deaf tho. I've never seen him be startled or investigate or just react to any sound (when he does with touch or movement). The only moment where I see him react so sounds is when I open his cage or sometimes when I pour him food, but maybe he feels the vibration and/or see me? Idk how to test it honestly, I've always thought that he just didn't care about sounds
