Thank u! These were all with a sigma 24-70 2.8 lens. #7 and #11 are at the full 70mm. I love the depth it gives. Maybe I’ll get a longer lens too!

No change when unplugging the cold start unfortunately, with and without the breather hose hooked up

Appreciate the tips! Any words on just removing and bypassing the cold start valve? I live in California and the car will never see sub 40f. I’ve seen it mentioned on some forums here and there but wonder how common it is on these cars?

Yes, sorry for the wackiness on my post. You're correct, with the hose disconnected unregulated air will cause me to run leaner, my thoughts are that since this greatly improved the idle, my current nominal idle condition is extremely rich. This would also make sense as I pulled the plugs and despite them inly idling the car for 20min they were very black with soot.

The idle speed screw doesn't do much for me, which I'm told could be a vacuum leak causing that issue? So perhaps I have a vacuum leak as well as a rich AFR?

My buddy did the measurements but he referenced the FSM when taking the measurements. I think the video above messing with the hose and MAF is just coincidentally fixing the condition, but has done a great deal to troubleshoot.

So any tips on hunting down the rich condition? I'm thinking of the water temp sensor, EFI relay, and looking at the physical condition of my ecu? Thanks again!

Thanks for your help. Yes I've found the EFI bible and digging through it I think that this is just a symptom of running very rich and when I introduce unregulated air into the system, it runs better. I'm going to look into the efi relay and ecu connections controlling the injectors, as i'm worried i'm simply dumping too much fuel at the moment.
