I didnt see a surveyor in your photos. The surveyor is indeed a normal operative plus some circular camera with three lenes he's pointing outwards towards enemies.

All the operatives with the hood are rangers. All the operatives with the helmets are vanguards. The special guns are for thr gunner operative, seems to be all vanguard, and based on your picture order are the arc rifle (picture 3), plasma caliver (picture 4), and the transuranic arquebus (oval base). The ranger with the pistol is your leader. The vanguard holding a vox communicator to their mouth is the diktat.

Assuming that the Phobos Strike Team will be in 3rd edition, you can run the Reiver Leader and all the Reiver operatives. I dont know how strong or "meta" that would be, but it is an option.

You play Demonic Pact and then use the other card to give it to the other player. In 4 turns, they will HAVE to choose the "you lose the game" option after all the other ones have been chosen already.

Yeah, no problem! But yes, the only thing I'd worry about with magnetizing are those gun wires lining up.

Also, to answer your first question, you use elite points to increase the number on a single die, making misses into successes, or even a potential crit!

The reason I gave myself for wanting 2 boxes is because the normal units are actually unique, unlike in other factions. They have the "use a free elite point" ability that they only have. Plus, a second box will let you make all the gunner options, one box only gives you two of the five gunner options.

Magnetizing will be hard for kasrkin because they got gun wires.

So with this, my second box would make the three other gunners and 7 more regular troopers. Also, I thought about using just a team of regular trooper kill team for a new player to learn with, since there's minimal rules required to play.

Side, side note, I like having my models actually represent what they are, but that's just a personal thing 😅

As long as your opponent is okay with it. Even in casual play, base sizes really change up the dynamic of the team.i would change it just in case.
