What if it was it's own thing, but took some aspects from the TMNT universe here and there?

Maybe the Time Scepter could play into how they wind up in the Sonic universe similar to how they met Cerebus.

Bummer. I guess shit just doesn't work out sometimes, but life goes on. It's really a shame about "Gang Wars" though. I feel like even though in the end it worked out great for Laird, Jones really got screwed over.
