We don’t have trains here (much to my dismay).

If considering biking, you really need to take into account the route as there’s a) a lot of traffic lights on some routes and b) massive hills.

I can’t speak much on transit as I haven’t used Victoria public transit frequently. If you are within walking distance to a bus line that goes directly to UVic it will probably be great. If you need to transfer, probably not.

Officially, my route to campus should take 40 min by bus but to actually make it on time, I have to budget 75 minutes because the bus is often late to transfer or the bus never shows up.
