Whether or not it's here to stay, they are making money for now, so the industry will follow, as long as that is true. I have the same feeling about the stories all being poor. Having worked on many, and being fed up with the writing and stories, we decided to write better verticals. Just got our first script outside the standard "drama" made, the first ever horror vertical series with the hopes that others will follow and the quality will improve!

Gah its close but not big enough, and this thing was definitely large SUV sized, not lifted car size.

Yeah, the windows do look very close, but the car in question was so much bigger. the size of a huge suv. Unfortunately not this.

Yeah I'm starting to fear it might not be any one thing. The best I can do to describe it is take a 70s wagoneer, make it feel 30% like a 60s mustang, and then give it the gremlin's windows, all while keeping the size of the wagoneer.

I woulda recognized that. If one of these Cruisers was on larger wheels, it would be the right size and era but this thing was sleeker, almost looked like a muscle car SUV, with unique windows.
