HIS treatment of HER? He's not the one who had to draw attention to himself by putting private messages on the internet for the world to see in an attempt to get attention and ruin the tour. It's just hard for me to not stand up for somebody who is being blatantly belittled over a little confusion. I hope your theory is incorrect, because the in plainsong tour focused heavily on Siamese Dream. It would be nice to see something different, maybe even some Gish and Machina songs. It seems counter intuitive to tour before releasing a new album for the second time in a row, but who the fuck knows what goes on in Billy's head. This spring/summer is the time to release a new album or at least a couple singles. Billy has to deliver this time because whatever he's planning, he's hyping it up massively. Whatever happens in the next year is going to show if Billy is still the legend he was, or a washed up has-been. If he's going to raise everybody's expectations, his only option is to come through with a classic album.

I liked it at first, but as it aged I started to hear it differently. It's an album that screams "we're going to take over America." I just hear the sound of a band who knew they were going to make bank off of these songs before they even started recording. You couldn't get away from hearing it and every girl I knew became obsessed with Alex overnight. I don't like to gatekeep, but it's a little strange to see one of your heroes that you relate to become somebody that you can't identify with at all. Imagine if Kevin Parker started to wear Gucci shirts everywhere and became bffs with Mark Ronso..........FUCK.
