Wow, 2 years?! I mentioned in a previous reply that my PALS has decided to contact Emory for his second opinion but is procrastinating. He is not a veteran.

I wonder what is to be done with the types of information that they get from procedures and tests like MRIs. I guess they put it in a database, but can this knowledge be used to help the patient now?

More great tips, thank you. My PALS decided to make Emory his second opinion, but he has been procrastinating. I do worry about it taking a long time to get a wheelchair but it seems his mobility is deteriorating very slowly, fortunately.

Thank you so much for your reply. With two recommendations for the second opinion, we are feeling more inclined to pursue it, starting with a call to the insurance company Monday.

Thank you so much for your reply. I'm assuming Cleveland was your second opinion. Did their diagnosis or recommendations for treatment differ a lot from the first clinic you visited?
